LGBTQ+ Chess Players? ️
Hi all:
I'm returning to chess after many, many years away, and even all those years ago I was still a novice.
I'm curious, any queer chess players out there? There does not seem to be a ton of diversity out there YouTubers seem to mostly or always use "he" to refer to online opponents, and most GM names read male. We all have opportunity to grow, so no judgment, mostly curiosity.
Looking forward to seeing if any rainbow folk and/or allies pop up on this thread!

On the chessboard, no one is straight, no one is queer , no one waves a flag, no one can see, and no one is blind.
The beauty of chess is that it doesn't matter what you tell you identify as. The moves do the talking. The Chess speaks for itself.
"The Chess speaks for itself."

All chess players are, we spend our whole life trying to mate kings. Jokes aside, can you cite the studies or statistics to make the claim that chess is not diverse or inclusive? Also, I have never seen where a GM name
I am gay so are there any other gay chess players like me?
Absolutely. There are 1, grandmasters last I've heard, so there are approximately lgbtq+ grandmasters alone. As for chessplayers in general if you have 2 million registered members of FIDE then there are , rated gay members.
For further statstics since the bottom 2% of IQ is retarded we can ascertain that .2% of the population are gay retards (and gay geniuses for that matter too since top 2% is genius level), and 1% are gay lefties whereas x are lgbtq+ retards (/10= 10 of course, but to obtain 2% of 10 we'll need 10* = .2% so we can ascertain that retard righties and conversely genius righties are % the population)
I can perceive you asking, "What about ambis!" Inform them to "fidge" off for throwing a spanner into the math and pretend they don't exists. Wait, I brush left side righty and right side lefty still, Imma solid lefty ^_^
Where was I? Oh yes, there are gay chess players and even gay grandmasters. I can't name any famous ones but maybe Euwe or Steinitz or whatever were gay but due to social pressures of their tim
openly gay chess masters?
Your intellectual understanding of a action that decimates the moral fabric of a reliable society cannot evolve or change just because 3% of the people hope for to extend their choice-behavior to accomodate theirs.
97% of society are straight, and even though marriage is not what is supposed to be since we have have ejected the creator and replaced Him with our humanistic comprehending, it is still the only think we can go by.
Morality is a fixed thing and must remain as absolute as the law of seriousness. When we begin to question the wisdom of it, we will sooner or later fall headlong into the abyss of "new laws" that will last until we slap the bottom and pause every bone we have.
However, the initial converation was about a "gay" chess player, my question would be as to why do we have the need to bring this subject up? What difference does it make if someone who has some sort of deviant deed behind his intelligent self plays good chess?
I personally don't care if I have to work alongside a homosexual or a straight person. The challenge begins when my m

with pride month coming up i think it would be a fine time to try the idea of gay chess, a chess varient where both players start with two kings. it would be a nicer inclusion then a rainbow flag and also i discover the idea of lgbtq+ chess hilarious
for mechanics if either king dies game over and both can only use one castle in what is famous as the divorce attack
(i am % serious about this)
ah yes, hilariously serious!
while we are at it, every other game of gay chess will encompass 2 queens instead of kings, making it far easier to checkmate the king! oh wait
There are 2 knights.
And, ehem, 8 soldiers :p
I mean each game already has 2 bishops if we are going there
No this is an awful idea, just because two man are married wouldn't made both of them king, and the game dynamics would be awful. Just business a picture of 2 men holding hands after the game and engage some YMCA as background music.
we already have anti chess.
Please don't bring polittics to chess.
Also, as stated before, lichess is not going to add unused variants.
I don't see why you would need the
