Boy Beach Provincetown
Close to Herring Cove Beach you'll find Provincetown's gay nudist beach. It's sometimes established as Boy Beach - or just The Gay Beach. It's a fairly slim stretch of beach and you'll often find warm men in their speedos and playing music on portable speakers.
A footpath leads there from Province Land Route (route 6A). Travel to the terminate of Bradford Highway and turn right onto Province Country Road. From the bike stop - a wooden fence with lots of bikes secured to it - it's a minute stroll. You'll need to walk through the flat marshes and sometimes you may even need to wade through waist-high water. When it's high tide you might need to hold your belongings over your head! The best queer area of the beach is immediately on your left as you appear. The further left you go the more nude and isolated the crowd gets.
A few warnings: You shouldn't swim alone at dawn or dusk or anywhere near seals. There are also Wonderful White sharks in the area and you should view out for the poison ivy in the dunes too.

Herring Cove is a gorgeous coastline that seems to be going as far as the eye can see. It&#;s immense and it&#;s beautiful and it&#;s consistently voted as one of the best beaches by no less an authority than The Journal Channel. Its best asset is the warmth and clarity of the water.
The lesbian section is on the left from of the last car park, while even further to the left there is the male gay section. Even further on towards the Wood End Lighthouse there is the nude male section and the dunes cruising area.
As the area is managed by the Cape Cod National Seashore, nude sunbathing is theoretically forbidden but no one seems to thought or check; however if the police do approach, nude bathers could be issued with a $50 spot fine.
There are no amenities in the lgbtq+ part of the beach so be sure to bring drinking water.

How to get there
