Garden Mention Equality is New Jersey’s largest LGBTQI+ advocacy and education company. There are resources on the page to help you deal with bullying, to report discrimination, or to learn what programs and supports are available for transgender students. You can also learn more about school security and legislative advocacy initiatives.
LGBTQI+ students can often have fewer resources than their privileged counterparts; due to perhaps having less back from their families, more demands on their expenses, and not filling out the FAFSA out of fear of discrimination and gender selection. Thus, this resource provides a comprehensive list of scholarships established for LGBTQI+ college students that are available from several public and private organizations, as well as individual donors.
