Gay Lynn Maupin was called abode by her Lord on Tuesday, March 18, Gay was born in Colorado Springs, CO but grew up in Alamogordo, NM. She was a graduate of Alamogordo High School. She was employed with Alamotero Land Surveys and was a devoted Christian. Gay met the love of her life, Kerry Maupin, and they married on the 26th of January, She was also a loving, devoted mother to three children and grammy to three grandchildren. She enjoyed attending church and participating in many church activities such as the Walk To Emmaus. Gay also enjoyed many "getaways" at The Lodge with her husband where they would relax, play cards and celebrate their life together. She also cherished her period they spent as a family on their yearly trip together to Pagosa Springs, CO.

Survivors include her husband, Kerry Maupin, of the family home; son, James Maupin, of Victoria, TX; daughters, Melissa Maupin and her two children, Nathan and Faith Rhodes of Alamogordo, Ashtynn Catalino and her husband Michael, III and their son Mic
