The former actor, who played Simon Camden on the hit exhibit, looked unrecognisable in photos mutual to Instagram by his co-star Beverly Mitchell.
Where once he sported a luscious blond undercut and boyish face, the year-old now has a shaved head and a long beard.
Gallagher, who was cast on 7th Heaven at the age of 11, reunited with his co-stars Mitchell, Catherine Hicks, Barry Watson and Mackenzie Rosman at 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut over the weekend.
The former child star's career also included appearances in Look Who's Talking Now with John Travolta and Kirstie Alley, and Phenomenon, also with Travolta.

that we are dealing with a year old character on a tv show. What has not
been mentioned is that we are also dealing with a year old actor by the
name of David Gallagher.
It's tough enough growing up lgbtq+. As the saying goes "Been there, done
that, bought the t-shirt". Wishing the job of portraying a gay character on
a common medium like television at an age when he is just coming into his
own cognizance of the meaning of the synonyms sexuality, is a terrible burden

On Sunday, March 30, the 7th Heaven alum, 40, distributed on Instagram that he quietly welcomed a second baby girl in December. In the post, Gallagher showed himself in entire "papa mode," as he carried several bags and his 3-month-old daughter, who was resting in her stroller, up the stairs. Next to him, his older daughter Lily can be seen walking up the steps.
"This is the best way to unyielding launch a second kid I’ve seen so far. Congratulations," one user wrote. Another user shared similar sentiments, asking, "Aww there's a new addition?? Congratulations and happy belated birthday Baby❤️."
