Hello. We are a gay, biracial couple with a baby considering a move from out-of-state to the Albany area, and are seeking suggestions on neighborhoods or neighboring towns.
We aren't seeking a gay night scene but would like to dwell in a diverse area that would be welcoming to our family.
As we are raising our child, we also own to think about safety and access to good schools.
Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks

Neighborhoods near Washington Park are also gay-friendly, but are a bit closer to the Primary Ave/Henry Johnson Blvd area, which can bring in some riff-raff.
