Here’s what she asked: “My friends and I were wondering about how it is that there is so rare remaining lesbian bars in the state but there seems to be an unusually high concentration of them in Oklahoma. There’s three of them, which is more than I certainly would have expected. When one thinks about where there might be a higher concentration of female homosexual bars, one thinks of New York, one thinks of Portland, one thinks of San Francisco. Probably not Oklahoma."

Three lesbian bars lock in the whole of Oklahoma might not seem appreciate very many but it actually is comparatively.
